Stupendous Flamingos

By Aleena

Flamingos live in the southern hemisphere, Africa, Mexico, the Caribbean, and the Galapagos Islands. Flamingos are pink, tall, and have long legs and arms. This omnivore eats shellfish and plants. Its predators are fish eagles, hyenas, cheetahs, and jackals. Flamingos defend themselves by growling, charging, and flapping their wings. These are some interesting facts about flamingos: they honk, and they make mud mounds to protect their eggs; their legs bend when they fly.
