The Awesome Grizzly Bear

            Grizzly bears are the second largest bears in the world. They weigh more than 700 pounds. They are 7 to 8 feet tall. Their coat name is funny, it is called gray-streaked.  They all live in awesome places. They live in North America which is where we live. They also live in forests, the lower mountains in the Appalachians, Mexico, Canada and the Rocky Mountains. All grizzly bears are omnivores because they eat young plants, roots, grasses, berries, insects, different kinds of meat, and fish. Their favorite is meat and fish. Their predators are humans. We are the ones who cut down their environment. They defend themselves quite fiercely to scare off their enemies. Here are some fun facts about grizzly bears:  they use their snout to stay away from their enemies and find food, move easily through woods, they are mammals, and before they mate they don’t only rub noses but they also give each other a gentle bear hug. . That is the awesome grizzly bear!
