Amazing Hippopotamus

Hippos have barrel shaped bodies and short legs. It lives in Africa near water in groups of 100. In the daytime, hippos sit by water edges, nibbling on water plants. This herbivore’s favorite food is marsh grass. It eats 40 kilograms in one night! Its enemies are crocodiles, lions, and hyenas. It attacks enemies when they are close to their babies. It has 38 to 42 teeth!  Hippos are amazing animals.
