Cute Racoons

          This amazing animal has a wide band of black fur across its eyes with a mask and pointed nose. It lives in South America, North America, near water, brushland, and forests. This omnivore eats buds, small animals, fish, shellfish, fruit, nuts, seeds, and sweet corn. They run away from two things: lions and tigers. They protect themselves by scampering up a tree and dropping acorns. Last but not least, they have the behavioral adaptation of hibernating!
