Beavers

            Have you ever seen a beaver?  My animal has a flat wide scaly tail and webbed feet on its back paws.  My animal lives in lakes, rivers, and streams.  What my animal eats is bark, twigs, leaves, roots, water plants, and tree bark.  The predators who attack my beaver are wolves, cougars, bears, otters, hawks, owls, and people.  My animal defends itself by sniffing the air and listening.  Some interesting facts are they stay under water for 15 minutes.  A beaver is a great animal.
