Caribou

Do you know about caribou?  My animal is the caribou.  It has antlers on both males and females.  My habitat is Canada, northern Eurasia, and northwest western United States.  My animal eats lichens, mushrooms, grasses, twigs, shrubs, herbs, fungi, leaves, and buds.  My animal’s predators are grizzly bears, lynx, wolverines, and wolves.  Occasionally they will catch a healthy adult.  My animal runs faster and farther than other kids of deer.
