Ostriches

       Would you like to learn about the amazing ostrich?  The ostrich is a fast runner.  My animal can hold speed up to 15 mph. It can also weigh from 150 to 250 pounds. But the bird can not fly. Its wings are too short and its body is too heavy. It eats insects and different types of plants. The ostrich is attacked by hyenas.  There are many different kinds of ostriches. It runs when in danger. They lay up to 25 eggs.  They are famous for burying their head in the sand when they are frightened. They also live in Africa.  I think the ostrich is amazing!
