The primary goal of the guidance
and counseling program at Windsor Oaks is to provide services
which will meet the academic, career, social, and personal
needs of our students in order to help them reach their
full
potential. Counselors visit classrooms monthly to present
lessons designed to meet the developmental needs of children.
Small group and individual counseling sessions (with parental
knowledge and consent) are available to all students.
Students are assisted in the areas of:

skills
- Coping
with change
- Showing
respect
- Study
skills
- Fostering
a positive attitude towards school
- Problem
solving
- Transition
to middle school
- Deployment
- Changes
in the family
