Our
Physical Education program stresses the development of
skill themes and high activity
time. We take skills and develop them through activities
involving that particular skill. For example, if we are
working on basketball dribbling, every student would have
a basketball and work on dribbling (the skill theme) instead
simply playing a basketball game. This way every student
receives high activity time and a lot of practice
to improve.
We also work weekly on physical fitness for
all grade level.
